My Project

A Tivi Tray is a multipurpose activity tray that my students will use as a surface for endless amounts of projects, crafts, sensory play, snacking, learning and more. If you go to the website https://www.tivitray.com/products/tivi-tray-silicone you will see a picture of what they look like.

One goal is for my students to use these Tivi Trays for mental health activities.

My students can place paint and art materials on these Tivi Trays to express themselves through art. This will be a great healing technique for anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. They can also use these trays for sensory activities using kinetic sand. Combining these soft trays and kinetic sand, my students will have a soothing tactile experience, promoting relaxation and reduce anxiety levels. As my students engage with the sand, and trays, they can focus on its gentle movements helping them to regulate their emotions and find a sense of calm.

Another goal for my students is to use these Tivi Trays for STEM lessons. These trays are food safe so my students will be able to complete math activities with their snacks. This will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to represent, create, describe, complete, and extend increasing and decreasing patterns with quantity and numbers in a variety of contexts. They will also use these trays for engineering activities because they are flat. Their projects won't fall over which is another way these will help my students' mental health.

These Tivi Trays will be a great addition for my students' learning. There are endless possibilities for my students to learn some amazing lessons with them!
