A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The burets will be used to practice titration lab experiments in which students will learn to neutralize an acid with a base or vice versa, and to find the concentration of a specific component in a mixture.
Some examples would be to find the concentration of vitamin C in orange juice; to find the concentration of calcium in milk; or to find the concentration of iron in over the counter iron tablets.
Another example is to find how much NaOH is needed to neutralize 50.0 ml of H2SO4.
These experiences will help students comprehend the titration concept better and the material covered in class. They will know how to do this analytically and experimentally.
