At our preschool, we provide free education to low-income families, ensuring that every child has the chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. Our program places a strong emphasis on kindergarten readiness, and we believe that equipping our students with the right tools at home can make a significant difference in their learning journey.
We are requesting the following items to create comprehensive home learning kits:
- Dental Hygiene Kits: Teaching the importance of dental health and hygiene from a young age.
- Eric Carle Books: Encouraging a love for reading with engaging and timeless stories.
- Pencils and Crayons: Essential tools for developing fine motor skills and creativity.
- Notebooks: Providing a space for children to practice writing and drawing, fostering literacy and self-expression.
- Scissors: Helping children develop coordination and cutting skills, which are crucial for many classroom activities.
Each of these resources is carefully chosen to enhance our students' learning experience at home. By practicing kindergarten skills in a familiar environment, children can build confidence and reinforce what they learn in the classroom. Dental hygiene kits promote healthy habits, while Eric Carle books ignite a passion for reading. Pencils, crayons, notebooks, and scissors are all fundamental in helping children develop the fine motor skills and creativity needed for kindergarten success.
