This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

T-ball is a beginner sport for young children that emphasizes enjoyment and basic abilities above traditional pitching and scorekeeping. Players hit a ball off a tee and run the bases.

This is a more thorough explanation of how T-ball is played:

Players hit the ball from a tee, a stationary, movable stand that holds the ball in place, while standing at home plate.

Running Bases: Similar to traditional baseball or softball, the hitter runs the bases (first, second, and third) after hitting the ball.

Fielding: In an effort to grab fly balls or tag runners out, the other team fields the ball.

Outs: The ball is returned to the pitcher, a runner is tagged out, or a runner is caught in the air.

No Pitching: In T-ball, the ball is set up on the tee for the batter to hit; there is no pitching like in softball or regular baseball.

Emphasis on Fundamentals: Teaching young players the fundamentals of baseball and softball, including hitting, running, and fielding, is the main objective of T-ball.

Minimal regulations: Compared to softball or regular baseball, t-ball has fewer regulations, which makes it simpler for young players to pick up and enjoy the game.

Coach Involvement: In T-ball, coaches are essential because they teach and mentor the players.

Coach-Pitch: To improve hitting technique, some T-ball leagues use "coach-pitch," in which a coach gently tosses the ball to the batter instead of use a tee.
