My Project

What I love most about kindergarten is that you literally see the fruits of your labor by the end of the school year and all the progress they've made. These materials will make a difference in their learning because it will ensure that they start the year off the best way possible. In our community, many students do not come to school the first week because of the cost of school supplies and uniforms. To close achievement gaps and give students a fair chance of a good education, I want to alleviate that burden on my parents.

At my school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.

I am planning to have an organized and scholastic school year. I have binders which will help my scholars keep all their progress monitoring work systematically in place and organized (Center/Independent Activities, Reading Intervention, and Data Progress Charts). Jumbo pencils will improve and help my scholars with comfort, control, and quality handwriting. Pencil cases will help my scholars keep their school supplies and desk materials organized, separated, and longer lasting.

If you know anything about kindergarteners, pencils and crayons, are lost, broken, make a mess, or switched easily and cause many different types of emotions to reset! Lol
