My Project

My TK students bring joy, curiosity, and creativity to everything they do. They approach learning with excitement and fearlessness, never afraid to make mistakes and try again. Their natural enthusiasm makes them ideal candidates for hands-on STEM experiences, where they can explore and create through coding and robotics.

Help spark a lifelong love of learning by empowering young minds to explore, create, and problem-solve through hands-on coding and robotics experiences.

I am requesting an iPad to enhance early STEM learning in my classroom and after-school robotics club for grades K–2. These tools will make a significant difference by allowing students to engage directly with Dash robots and Ozobots, which will help them build problem-solving, sequencing, and critical thinking skills.

The iPad will be the central device for running coding apps like Blockly, Wonder, and Ozobot Edu, which students will use to control the robots. This hands-on interaction will bring abstract coding concepts to life. The keyboard will support digital literacy by helping students practice early typing skills, search for information, and give me an efficient way to create lesson plans and track progress. The Apple Pencil will allow students to practice fine motor skills, plan robot paths, and trace codes. It will also enable me to annotate work and create visual aids to support learning.

My goals for this project are to introduce foundational coding concepts, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and foster teamwork and resilience. I aim to provide a fun, engaging way for students to explore technology while building important skills for the future.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their ability to embrace challenges. They are eager to try new things, celebrate successes, and work together. With these tools, I will empower them to grow as confident, creative problem-solvers ready to tackle the world.
