My Students

My students are so excited to return to school and get back to having hands-on STEAM experiences in our Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.

The students are curious and creative, imaginative, and innovative.

I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.

My Project

Students have had an unusual year this school year. Half of my students learn at school every day, while the other half learn at home. Having the ability to have hands-on activities for all my students has been my number one goal. I do not want any of my students feeling that that are getting "less" because they are learning at home.

These gear tinker sets will be a great addition to our STEM resources that can be used both for in-person and at-home learning.

Students will work to create wonderful creations, all while learning about gears. One project that I can't wait to do is where they build amusement park rides with the gears and other maker-space items!
