My Students

My students are a large group of curious readers from Brooklyn, NY. These eighth-grade students love to debate and make connections between what they read and what they learn in other subjects. In addition, they are also always making connections to the real world. Many of my students do not have the resources or the support at home to purchase their own copies of books, so I am constantly searching for ways to put books in their hands, even if it means buying them the books myself.

My Project

These classroom timers and clocks will help my young readers and writers work on their pacing and focus in their reading and writing tasks! Many students need assistance with managing their time and these wonderful timers will allow them to self-manage and increase their independence in completing their tasks in a timely manner!

It goes without saying that timing is everything!!

Please help my young readers and writers manage their time and their tasks!

These items would be a truly wonderful addition to our classroom and would make day to day tasks much easier for my 8th grade students. With these items, managing their time and tasks will be well within their reach!
