My Students

Do you sometimes procrastinate? Well try to image what its like to be 8 years old again, with so much on your mind! My students sometimes loose focus and have difficulty staying on task. I want my students to be able to use timers to instill self-motivation.

They could use these timers in all subject areas to monitor their own pace and become more independent and self-directed.

My students are eager to learn but sometimes need a little encouragement. In order to keep themselves self-motivated and on task to reach their goals. Giant timers would be helpful.

My Project

By asking for timers, my students will be able to track their progress in all subject areas. They will be able to complete more tasks indepdently and see what they are truly capable of. By having a variety of times, at different time intervals, I will be able to determine how much time a specific child needs to complete a task. This will help my students realize how important it is to stay on task and make every minute count.

Having these timers will help out a great deal.

These timers will help students take ownership and responsibility for their work and time. Since these timers are bright, colorful and fun to use students will be eager to use them. When the timer is set, they will see what they are capable of when they use their time wisely.
