Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are excited about learning and and using materials that will help them to learn and grow!

Each student is unique with their own goals and learning strategies and a love to demonstrate their knowledge in various ways!

They enjoy the challenges that come with attending school and are so eager to advance their social and academic skills. My students are friendly and love getting to know one another. I am grateful I get to spend this year with them.

My Project

This last school year was one of tremendous challenges. The new school year will give me an opportunity to provide more hands on experiences to practice skills. Therefore, I want to laminate materials so they can practice those phonics and math skills.

A laminating machine will help me protect those materials so that not only these children but future classes will enjoy those materials and be able to practice!

In addition, an art drying rack will help me create more art with my students. I teach in a dual language program which means twice the amount of students that I see daily! Space is limited and I don't have a reliable place to dry their art. Having a designated art rack would help me do those hands on activities that my students so greatly deserve!
