My Project

Throughout the day students stop me and ask, ‘Ms. Lisa, when are we using clay again?’

As the school year kicks off, we are super excited to begin our ceramics projects!

We are so fortunate that DonorsChoose has selected our school to MATCH EVERY DOLLAR we raise in order to celebrate Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month! We have nearly 100 new beautiful students this year!

P.S.165m is the only elementary school in the NYC public school system with a ceramics program. Everything we create is food, drink, oven, dishwasher safe! When our students drink or eat out of their pieces for the first time their pride is palpable. Please help us keep our clay dreams alive!
