Flexible seating options will greatly impact my students in many different ways. First, they will increase engagement because moving their bodies in a safe way decreases their distractions.
Many students learn in many different ways, and flexible seating options give students different learning opportunities, no matter their learning style.
Flexible seating promotes movement and comfort, which help both concentration and overall happiness.
Each student will have opportunities to use the many different flexible seating options. My goal for having more flexible seating this year is to get more movement and collaboration among peers.
This class is special because I know most of them from teaching them in 1st grade. They have big hearts, a lot of knowledge, confidence to share their ideas, and a lot of energy. This will greatly benefit their learning and overall well-being!
