This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an elementary school counselor, my main goal is to help my students develop social- emotional skills in response to issues they face. Children need to feel safe, loved, and understood in order to achieve academic success. This project is for two Jumbo Bean Bags that will replace sitting in hard and uninviting chairs.

I plan on using the bean bags to provide a calming and comfortable space during my counseling sessions!

Bean bags will ensure my students feel secure and supported while they focus on getting themselves ready to learn again. I can't wait to see my students' reactions when they rest their bodies on the bean bags. It will make a monumental difference to our sessions!
