Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

To be able to use tablets daily in the classroom would be exciting for my students. I am amazed at what students can achieve with our limited resources. So I am very excited to watch what can be accomplished with the use of a Sony tablet.

My students live in a low economic community and attend a school that has limited resources.

Technology is out of reach at home for most students. Our school has out of date computers and students have access only once a week for a few minutes. Regardless, my students look forward to that opportunity. The use of a tablet in class will help keep students motivated and eager to continue learning.

My Project

Technology is truly the wave of the future and it is important that students are kept up to date with technology. Having a tablet in class would be beneficial to my students in many ways. The tablet would be used for project research and reinforcement of concepts learned. I would also be able to use fun and engaging apps. Most importantly, I would be able to provide students with individualized lessons and extra support.

My students continue to progress despite the lack of resources.

But with the proper tools, like the Sony tablet, students academic progress will reach new heights. I am excited to provide my students with the ability to achieve success through the use of this technology.
