Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love hands-on, engaging activities. They learn best by exploring the classroom and manipulatives that we have available for them to use.

They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even though they don't know it yet.

They are the future, and I want to give them the best start I can in school.

My Project

Dramatic play gives students a chance to work on so many skills at one time. We are able to work on math, literacy, and social skills while playing in this center. While playing in our dramatic play area, we work on turn-taking skills with our peers and teachers. We also work on our fine motor skills through writing or other tasks depending on what the center is. We change out our dramatic play every few weeks to go along with the seasons or what we are learning with our curriculum.
