Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ever wonder about what is happening in the world around you. Many of my students do. They are not able to experience people or place in our wonderful world. Time for Kids weekly magazine provides children with a way to see the world.

This past school year has been a tough year financially.

Parents and our school district are having a hard time affording any kind of extra reading materials for our students. A donation of a weekly magazine, such as Time for Kids, allows our class as younger readers to have materials explaining wonderful things happening around the world and to see and experience different cultures other than our own. We appreciate all that you do for us and hope that we can find some wonderful donors to help us.

My Project

Time For Kids is a news magazine that help students read about exciting science and social studies stories that are making the news. Time for Kids provide weekly topics that encourage reading and creative thinking. Time for Kids provide students with topics that can be discussed and provide new learning materials that my not be introduced at home and provide information for students to take home and share. All students should be given the opportunity to learn as much as they can about the world around them, but many don't have a way to get that information.

I hope that you will find it as important as I do that these wonderful kids get an opportunity to see and hear new things with the magazine Time for Kids.

Students look forward to reading the magazine each week and I hope you will find it in your heart to donate to our class.
