Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a student, I absolutely loved getting my Time for Kids magazine. It provided me with the opportunity to read and learn about current events that were on my reading level. I cannot wait to use this with my students.

This past school year, students were allowed to read an article of their choosing and practice writing a 5 sentence summary for it.

The students loved having choice of what topics they could read about. They also were able to look through multiple articles and issues, to find the one that interested them the most.

Please help me give my students Time for Kids magazine to help keep them up to date with current events!
