Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 2nd grade at a wonderful elementary school full of amazing students! My class struggles with the foundations such as reading and writing but I always see them trying their best every single day. I see how much work and effort they put into the classwork, they never give up. I know they are amazing because they are the true definition of perseverance.

My Project

This magazine is fabulous because it integrates all subject areas into one reading selection. One week can be dedicated to Science the next to Social Studies.

Time for Kids is a wonderful magazine that will help supplement a child's reading abilities.

It is also a great magazine that is completely digital so we can access it online during distance learning.

Time for Kids also comes with online videos, vocabulary pictures and quizzes. The children are always so excited to learn using this resource. I can's wait to integrate this reading material in my everyday teaching.
