My Students

Time for Kids magazine gives students time to be excited about reading.

The students in our school attend a school in Virginia.

They will begin first grade this year at varying levels, and we need many different materials so we may continue to challenge and engage all of them. Most of the students are just beginning to read, and magazines are a favorite material to explore.

My Project

Due to budget cuts, our school is unable to purchase many of the materials it has in the past, such as magazines for the students to read. I am requesting a subscription to Time for Kids for each student in the first grade. After reading the magazine together, students will be able to take their copy home to share and reread with their family.

TIME for Kids will make a difference in our students' lives by educating them on nonfiction topics, and also increasing their reading and vocabulary skills!
