I would like to give my 4th Graders the opportunity to read about, learn about, and think about the world. Time for Kids has articles about a variety of subjects that are authentic, engaging, and relevant. When reading these articles, students will have a chance to think deeply, increase their comprehension, and build strong vocabulary. As a bonus, the Time for Kids magazines will also be something that students can take home to share with their family.
Reading about current events allows our scholars to be a community, both locally, and globally.
Teaching students to read about current events, teaches them the significance of being an informed, active citizen.
Please help my students learn about the upcoming events this year that will expose them to the world outside the classroom!
TIME for Kids magazines are not only engaging with beautiful photos, but there are thought provoking questions to ask and extensions after reading.
More than half of students from low‑income households
