My Students

Our school is a Title I community-based elementary and middle school. We have a diverse student body, and a wonderful team of teachers. We work hard in the classroom to model respect and kindness for all of our wonderful students.

Our students are unique, diverse, and so eager to learn each and every day as they enter the classroom.

Together, we work to make our classroom a safe and comfortable environment where we can all learn, each and every day. We place a large emphasis on relationship building and getting to know each and every student personally, to better assist them each day in the classroom.

My Project

Time for Kids Magazine is an effective tool in the classroom. It covers all four major subject areas, encourages literacy and a love for reading, and assist students in keeping up-to-date with current events in a student-friendly and age-appropriate way.

Students are engaged and eager to learn about current events.

Time for Kids allows them to explore age-appropriate articles that educate them on important events across the world. It opens their minds and allows them to understand how other people live in other countries and other areas of the world.

Time for Kids Magazine is very useful tool, that supplements our curriculum, and compliments our standards that we focus on each and every day in the classroom!
