Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Current events should be apart of a child's everyday life. Keeping up with social studies and science topics can keep a child interested as well as keeping them informed with daily life topics.

My students especially love social studies and science topics.

These two subjects can sometimes get pushed to the side but reality is the children love learning about these topics. In the classroom, I try to make the learning more entertaining and exciting.

My Project

By having a subscription to Time for Kids, each student would be albe to keep their interests levels high by having their own copy of the magazine. We would be able to complete projects, and work on reading the magazines thoroughly. They will be able to keep up with current events and realize the importance of science and social studies in the world.

The subscriptions would help in my classroom tremendously.

We would be able to incorporate the magazine in daily lessons. This could help with the students' reading and writing skills. It would help the student stay interested and up to date on topics in the world today!
