Help Mrs. Lochel

I teach in a great area of South Carolina. We are in a neighborhood school where many children can walk to and from school each day. Many parents work to provide their children with as many opportunities as possible. We are in the fastest growing area of our state and classroom sizes continue to grow!

Because of this, the children seem to visit their related arts (music, art, library) less and less each year. The more crowded we get...the more spread out extra curricular activities become. Children at this age are so musically in tune and learn best when any kind of information is set to a fluent tune. Our current CD player is out of date and skips constantly. I don't have a collection of learning CDs to play for my students and I know they would benefit greatly from this!

Please generously donate to this project and help me provide a new "tune" for my students to learn by. They are enthusiastic and more willing to participate when any kind of music comes on and I can only imagine how their fluency in reading will grow because of this project too!

Please help me integrate music into learning in my classroom as the children's time in music class dwindles away slowly. Help me keep them enthusiastic about learning!
