Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My amazing third graders are thoughtful, inquisitive, caring, and loved. They are enthusiastic about learning about their community and world. They come to school each day ready to face new challenges and take new risks. My school is located in the heart of the California Bay Area, though many students face unique challenges. A number of my students are recent immigrants to America and the first in their families to learn English. Some others have special learning needs and IEPs. As their teacher, I strive every day to set my students up on a path to academic success.
This project will fund a white t-shirt for every student in my class plus tie dye supplies so we can create our own class shirts.
These shirts will become a favorite of my students and a memorable way for them to connect to their classmates. We will be able to wear these shirts for special days, the school talent show, and the last day of school. Students will also enjoy getting to express their creativity as they design their own shirts. Thank you for supporting students and helping us have a memorable experience!
