Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The goals for this project are for my students to enjoy a lab activity with their 7th grade peers and learn about chemical reactions and bonds. Through the art of Tie Dying, we will observe how the soda ash and dyes go through a chemical reaction, in order to help the shirt hold onto the color! Kids love experiments that deliver excitement, hands-on materials, and smiles galore!
Having the right tools for the job make what I do for a living so much more exciting.
I love seeing the look of amazement when we do investigation and experiments and the lightbulb goes off in my students' heads, because they know the reason "why" that reaction took place in their experiment.
