My Project

My project encompasses many facets to classroom learning. Organization is key for a productive learning atmosphere to take place. I believe the quote, "For every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned".

In education, we have plenty to fill our time as we focus on teaching the curriculum and the social emotional wellbeing of our students, so if things are organized both for the teacher and the students, the focus can be on learning, empowering, achieving and discovering.

These baskets will be key for my new language arts curriculum materials and for students to keep things organized in their desks. The throwable ball will empower students to voice themselves during morning meetings. The plant holders zip tied to their chairs will provide a great place for their water bottles instead of on their desks interfering with desk work and possibly spilling on expensive technology and important work. The power of YET BOOK will provide my class with a new engaging book as we discuss growth mindset and the power of yet at the beginning of the year.

The items in my project help my students LEAD (learn, empower, achieve, and discover) their voyage. I hope to be able to provide them with the best environment and tools for this to happen. Each item in my project is directly tied to the students LEADing their voyage in third grade.
