My Project

Students in Construction class struggle with accountability and documenting their work. Currently, they record their daily work on Chromebooks. The downside to this is they need to be in the classroom to be doing this, and they are unable to include pictures of their progress on projects. Nowadays, most construction companies require their workers to submit detailed reports on iPads daily while including picture. This streamlines workflow and efficiency, allowing for any issues or mistakes to be addressed immediately. With an iPad and a proper protective case, the students will get exposure to the standard system of reporting for construction companies. This is in direct alignment with our educational goal of work-based learning and job preparedness. The paper towels will allow for a sanitary work environment as students use dirty tools and materials. It is imperative that they each wash and dry their hands at least once per period. With 7 classes of an average of 25 students, that is at least 150 paper towels being used every day.
