My Students

The students in my classroom are courageous, inquisitive, kind, thoughtful, and eager to learn and create. My class if full of students from various ethnic, racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. It is my teaching philosophy that students should always see themselves reflected in their classroom and in the materials they are expected to learn from. I also believe all student should have the supplies and materials needed to be successful learners regardless of their socioeconomic status. Covid-19 not only impacted our nation but it left many of our vulnerable families at even more risk. I am raising funds to help equip all of my students with the supplies they need to be successful learners. I am confident that by you donating I can ensure all of my student will have the supplies they need to have an amazing 5th grade year despite distance learning. Thank you for supporting our classroom community and creating an equitable experience for ALL students!

My Project

The supplies purchased will be made into kits for students. Each student will receive a binder with graph paper, lined paper, highlighters, pencils, and dividers. These are the materials necessary to start strong with distance learning and will help ensure school does not become a financial burden for families.

Ensuring ALL students have the supplies they need for school is the first step to an equitable learning experience in 5th grade.
