This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from trauma backgrounds.

Giving them a plant to water and take care of would be a wonderful way to reduce stress and anxiety.

Help our class by donating some plants to care for and help create a nurturing learning environment. Students’ learning capabilities will be enhanced with the addition of potted plants and greenery in the classroom. By focusing on plants or window boxes to provide a calm, mature and attractive area, learners can look upon them with interest during short breaks to refresh their learning and enhance their cognitive performance across all subjects to become more successful and evolve.
