Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

HSES has a very diverse student population. Our Student Council is a reflection of the diversity that we embrace! Most students come from low-income households. They face adversity every day!

Our students are my reasons why-they motivate me to be a better person every day!

They face challenges with an open mind and reflect upon being intentional every day! Our students are showing great improvements in their academics as well as their social learning. We are so proud of their growth!

My Project

Since we are three teachers to just one classroom, we need to get creative in how we are going to keep distractions to a minimum. We have two doors in the class so we thought to split the room with this divider. With a worked out schedule, we will be able to know which teacher is in there and what section so the others enter through and use the other space.

We are thrilled about all the new practices and programs we have planned to help our students learn so much more this year!

This divider is also great since it has dry erase boards. We will be able to use it as a resource on the other half of the room Our learners have the most difficult task of learning academics while learning English as well-all distractions must be eliminated!
