Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am an educator in a low-income, Title I school with almost 500 children. This year will be my 15th year teaching. This year I will service 66 eager and ready scholars.

My students are excited about this school year and all of the fun activities that I have planned.

My goal this year is to make all of my students grow one grade level above where they are now. I want all of my students to be successful this year. I want them to excel.

My Project

Reading is such a great way to travel! Books can take you to far away lands! Please help me get these books to be used in the classroom for enjoyment, as well as some of them to be used as gifts to take home. Some of my students do not have access to quality and a variety of books.

This selection of books will allow my students to choose interesting books that they would like to read in class during read to self time.

I also gift books during Christmas time, so this would be a great start as well!
