Three and Four Year Old Artist, Readers, and Writers!

Help me give my students an opportunity to draw, and read comfortably in a toddler desk chair coverter. I teacher special needs preschool students who need the correct height and desk for three and four year olds.

My Project

Converting cube chairs with a desk top allows my students to manipulate paper, markers, books and musical instruments with limited frustrations and gives them the ability to focus on their fine motor skills such as turning the page of a book, marking and erasing a white board. I have two sets of identical twins in my class who are reading and writing at 3 and 4 years respectively.

My students are very tiny and sitting comfortably in a cube chair with a desk top will benefit their need and size.

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work and sit comfortably.

My goal of this project is to give them a place to be the artist, readers, and writers that they are comfortably.
