My Project

Greetings! I created this Project because as a new English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher, there is so much for me to learn regarding what adequately cultivates and fun and productive learning environment. I am tremendously proud of myself for the progress I've made on my own thus far, so now I have no shame asking for help. My middle school students are simply amazing! Despite being products of underserved communities, they strive to rise to the occasion each and every single time.

The main thing my students keep begging me for is a Peace Corner.

I already have a beautiful colorful rug for this area, and a nice little book table to accompany it. The only things missing are these bright beautiful bean bag chairs, such as the ones I am requesting. When my students have finished at least 90% of their assignment(s), they will be allowed to visit the Peace Corner and complete the remainder of their assignment in that area until the bell rings.

Once we have the bean bag chairs, we will complete the Peace Corner with a school-safe essential oil diffuser to add an aromatherapy experience. We are immensely grateful for any donation amount, no matter how small or how large. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we wish you a lovely 2025 and beyond.
