My Project

I work with special education students and non-special education students, with various disabilities, who need help learning to cope with their various social emotional challenges. They are kind-hearted students who need help learning to channel their emotions in a positive/appropriate way to get their needs met while being able to function in the classroom. This project will help them use their creative outlet to make something that is unique to them and achieve a sense of self-pride.

The students will make a special portfolio of their counseling progress (their goal and their journey) and their culmination will be a T-shirt with a unique design to showcase their uniqueness.
