My Project

I'm sure you've seen book carts before in any library you've walked through, or maybe even dreamed of having your own, parked right next to a bookshelf with a ladder. Beyond giving off strong bibliophile vibes, however, book carts serve the important purpose of transporting large amounts of books from one place to another, a standard task in the library.

While I believe that librarian should be equipped with an extra set of arms and the strength of Superman, until that happens I am going to be be dependent on book carts, and they don't come cheap.

But why am I moving large amounts of books at once? This could be anything from re-shelving books to creating displays to creating mini collections to support a class during research. Currently my cart is upstairs packed with books to help our 11th graders explore the lasting harm of the Holocaust. This is a valiant task, but until this assignment completes, our library remains cart-less. A second cart would greatly help in keeping our library running smoothly!
