This Is How We Do It

Help me give my students sensory experiences with a sand and water table for sensory play. The book set is to help my students learn about how school works and how school materials are used appropriately.

My Project

This project is all about the youngest learners. My K-2 students with autism need to explicitly taught how to use school tools. The book set is a fun and engaging way to teach them each school tool. The other items are for sensory exploration which will help my students regulate their neurological systems through exploratory play. The water and sand table will also be used instructionally with sight words, numbers, letters and more. This will be a great seek and find activity for them to continue to master what is being taught in the classroom.
