Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for our class and includes a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Help us give our students STEM bins, double-sided tape, sodas for incentives, and Valentine's Day cards for our February celebration.

STEM bins will be used for our after-school STEM club as well as double-sided tape for building different STEM models to showcase their learning.

We give sodas out on Fridays for students with perfect attendance to the club and hope to create a positive classroom environment.

We added Valentine's day cards to This and That as we begin to collect goodies and surprises for our classroom and clubs this year to support SEL. These Valentine's Day cards are for students to use to send to friends.

We are forever grateful for DonorsChoose support and excited to use these new tools in our classroom. Once school begins there are always so many needs, last-minute items necessary, and lots of organization going on in our room. We are blessed to be a part of this community.
