Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders are constantly learning new things and discussing. We use everyday materials like pencils, paper, glue, colored pencils, and crayons to express our learning. We love colorful classrooms and in order to create this warm environment, we need on-site materials. Thank you.

My students are the reason I love my job.

Their personalities bring creativity and excitement to my classroom. These third graders stay busy, and when third graders are busy, their pencils, paper, and glue start to run out. I want their learning to continue flowing, so having extra materials in the classroom will help. Pencils are always the first thing to go. Your donations will keep the learning in our classroom stay alive.

My Project

I have requested school supplies such as pencils, paper, glue, colored pencils, crayons, and much more. These materials will last the whole year! On average, we use about 200 pencils a quarter! That's a lot of pencils. We do a lot of cutting, coloring, and gluing in third grade, and when someones glue runs out, we end up sharing. Can you imagine sharing a glue stick with 4 other students? These materials will enhance my student's learning by acting as an aid. With these materials, students will have a harder time expressing their ideas.

My project will make a difference because you're giving my students an opportunity to have school supplies at the tip-of-their-fingers.

Student's feel more special when they have school supplies to call their own. It also offers some responsibility because they are in charge of taking care of their materials, and keeping them in a safe place. I already have a pencil box for each of my students, so the materials you would purchase will not be lost. Thank you for making a difference in our lives.
