My Students

Despite facing challenges both at home and at school, my diverse group of students arrive to school each morning wearing bright smiles. Their friendly voices not only greet me, but they greet each other too. A beautiful thing to witness. It makes me so excited to start my day with them. Every morning I think, how lucky am I?

My students come to school on a quest for knowledge, all hungry to learn more!

I am truly in awe of my creative students as they are driven and highly motivated to better their own learning. Their faces light up at positive attention and praise and I try my hardest to create a safe and fun learning environment for them.

My Project

Technology is changing education every day, but without enough of it, students are unable to make use of the benefits. This project will help me achieve the goal to have enough technology to allow for my students to work in partners with Chromebooks.

Students will have the chance to get their hands on technology more often on a daily basis!

Your generosity will help my students get the chance to not only further their learning in subject areas such as math and reading, but also learn to successfully work with a partner or small group. It is my hope that this will not only spark a bigger love for learning in them, but create new friendships along the way too. School is much easier when you feel supported and I want that for my students.

This project will also give our classroom a safe storage place for our Chromebooks with a Vertical Desktop Organizer. They can be placed in the slots to charge when they are not in use. There, the Chromebooks can be safe, organized, and well taken care of.

Thank you so much for your consideration in helping my third graders become life long learners!
