Help me give my students dry-erase boards and associated materials to enable my students to work on whiteboards. This will facilitate the implementation of the Building Thinking Classrooms approach to successful teaching.

My Project

The dry erase boards and materials will provide my students with hands-on opportunities to engage directly with the content, collaborate with peers, and solve problems in real-time. By incorporating the Building Thinking Classrooms approach, these tools will facilitate active learning, critical thinking, and deeper understanding. The ability to visually represent and work through problems on whiteboards will enhance their problem-solving skills and promote student-centered, interactive learning.

The primary goal is to create a more interactive and engaging classroom environment where students are actively participating in their learning.

I aim to foster independent thinking, collaboration, and the ability to tackle complex problems. Additionally, I want to promote a classroom culture where mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth and where all students feel confident in sharing their thoughts and solutions.

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn, but they often benefit from a more hands-on, interactive approach to learning. They thrive in environments that allow them to explore concepts collaboratively and use trial and error to build understanding. Each student brings a unique perspective, and they work best when they feel empowered to think critically, experiment, and collaborate with their peers. This project will allow them to flourish by providing tools that support these strengths.

Mrs. Cornelius will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by Sunday, July 20.
