My Project

Working at a small very rural school has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages are that everyone knows each other and families look out for one another. Disadvantages are that funding is minimal and needs are very hard to meet when there is an abundance.

I would love to provide a small microwave for our first grade classroom to heat up lunches and help in science experiments that require heat.

The microwave will be used to heat up objects in many science experiments to melt items or warm the water to show changes in states of matter. Students will also have the opportunity to use the microwave to heat meals from home that they would otherwise eat cold.

Although small this microwave would have a huge impact in our first grade classroom.
