They Did What?! TIME For Kids

My students need TIME for Kids in the classroom so we can explore the world together from the comfort of our own classroom.

My Students

I teach fourth grade math and science at a Title 1 School. Even though some of my students have a rough home life, they still come into my classroom every morning excited for what the day will bring.

Our motto is "If you can dream it, you can achieve it!" There is just something about a student coming in with a smile on their face each morning that makes you want to give them everything you possibly can to help them achieve their dreams.

My Project

My students would use TIME for Kids in the classroom weekly to help enrich my curriculum.

It can be difficult to find articles that make students excited and wanting to learn more.

Today I received a free sample of this magazine. My students sat excitedly as I read to them about how technology has help scientists study mummies without having to destroy and unwrap them. Once I was finished they all began to beg me to get some more.

My students would use this weekly either with myself or my partner teachers classroom as articles to help enrich our curriculum.
