This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love being able to provide scholars what they need at the time they need it. I have brought in my own printer with a copier and it has been so amazing for the scholars to be able to print essays, assignments and make copies of someone's notes to catch up from ta missed class. It also helps me for me to decide mid class that I want to throw in an additional worksheet to provide more practice without having to wait until the next day. Many scholars ask for a copy of the notes and have to take a picture because I do not have enough paper to copy or print them. Taking pictures on the phone is great though they seldom go back to them and it usually causes a disruption to their learning because once they see a notification, they must answer right then and there.
We live in a digital age, however, students still want paper to be able to annotate and highlight important details.
I am asking for colored paper to print quizzes, tests and projects to remind students the importance of that assignment, quiz or test. I am also asking for white copy paper to have in the classroom for me to be able to provide my students what it is most pertinent.
