My Project

In our classroom, one of the most important skills I strive to nurture is a love for reading. For many of my first-grade students, books are windows into exciting new worlds and developing a strong reading habit is key to their academic success. However, some of my students don’t have access to a variety of quality books at home, making our classroom library an essential resource for their growth as readers. That’s why I’m requesting help to expand our library with books that capture their imaginations and keep them coming back for more.

Titles like The Night Before 1st Grade help ease first-day jitters, while Dragon Masters and Magic Tree House whisk students away on thrilling adventures.

These books are just the beginning of their reading journeys, fostering a love for literature that will last a lifetime.

With access to a wider variety of high-interest books, my students will be more motivated to read both in and out of the classroom. I want to provide them with the opportunity to discover new favorite authors, genres, and series, whether it’s the magic of time travel in Magic Tree House or the exciting fantasy quests in Dragon Masters.

These books not only build their reading skills but also teach valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and imagination. Your generous support will help fill our classroom with beloved stories and inspire my students to become lifelong readers!
