My Students

We have some awesome and amazing students at our school. Even in the midst of the pandemic, they were still thriving despite the circumstances. They are resilient, but still need support for the challenges that lie ahead returning to school after 1 1/2 years.

My Project

These timers and cards will make a huge difference as part of our after school intense academic support for our sixth grade students who have some difficulties with math. These resources will also allow them to confidently make mistakes, since they will be able to self check, redo, and recheck. Students will also be able to help identify their challenging math standards, which in turn will allow the teacher to better gauge student opportunities and give more direct one to one support. These resources will help students improve their grades in math by working with pairs or teams to correctly solve each math problem to create patterns.
