My Project

There are several mental health benefits of knitting and crochet. The nature of these artistic crafts is both simple and complex, and there are endless possibilities for patterns and designs. The craft arts appeal to those who like to create, who enjoy tactile learning, and it can develop the problem solving part of our brains.

Knitting and crochet are great self care tools for anyone, a stressed young person, a youth who may have special needs, a student dealing with mental or emotional health challenges.

We are in need of looms, yarn, and crochet hooks. Help my students learn this art.
