My Students

Our High School has had a vibrant extracurricular theatre arts program for many years - including two back to back award winning seasons in our regional competitions. Now for the first time ever, our high school will offer a curricular theatre arts class for students who are looking to further their studies in acting and technical theatre, as well as those who have an interest but don't exactly know where to begin!

Our fine arts students are highly motivated young adults who dedicate much time and passion to the development of their craft.

My Project

We have a brand new course being offered but need some basic and relevant classroom materials to get our students started on the right track.

This new course will include several units of study, including Theatre History, Improvisation, Acting Techniques, Theatre Vocabulary, and Technical Applications.

The requested books will build a small but might classroom library with the improvisation, history, and technical books to provide literary resources. Students will use these books in collaborative small groups for both performance based and hands on projects. The materials, such as clipboards and scarves, will aid in innovative collaborative theatre arts projects.
