My Project

Thanks for checking out this project and helping me fund my classroom! I have several items in here that may not be essential for most teachers, but, here in the world of middle school, they're high in demand.

I emphasize social-emotional learning in the first 10 minutes of each period.

The yoga mat and meditation pillow will help to facilitate a comfortable environment and successful "mindful minute" daily. The sound machine is helpful to remain focused on learning while using aromatherapy to ease the minds and behaviors of my hyper middle schoolers. The lamp will contribute to the serenity of the room during class and work time and also recharge the energy in the room. My goal for this project is to maintain a calm environment that will best support my students' learning and focus.

The laptop is for me because my current one keeps crashing, making lesson planning and grading difficult. This will help my students receive feedback and their work in a timely fashion, help me feel less stressed about lesson planning and grading, and keep me organized. This will help everyone to feel happy and productive!
