My Students

My students attend a Title I school where not every household has an electronic device. During distance learning, families that are able to participate in the Zoom sessions at their homes try their best but I’ve learned how difficult it is to keep students engaged in virtual schoolwork just through Zoom.

I used a laptop and shared my screen to assess students but would like additional resources to be more interactive.

My Project

Never did I think I would teach my class virtually. ?These past few months have been challenging for me as well as my students and their families. I used what I already have at home to teach my class online last school year. The materials I'm asking for will help my students as I teach from home because I'll be able to do so much more with them through our virtual meetings.

During the last school year, I used a 3 inch binder with paperclips to hold up worksheets to my laptop for students to see.

It would help a lot and save some time by using the dry erase board easel and the document reader. The iPad and iPad pen would help a lot with various activities, such as teaching my students how to form letters and numbers or even writing on a digital worksheet.

When we return to school, I'd still be able to use these items in my actual classroom.
