Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

MNS includes twelve classrooms of K-5th graders with a wide variety of ethnicities. My students are very motivated and eager to learn concepts in physical education through exciting sports, games, and activities. Together the students and I will accomplish many physical and mental tasks. With your support, all my students will have the ability to challenge themselves with lifelong activities!

My Project

Our students are very excited and are willing to learn in P.E. They are very interested in learning new and fun activities. Since we share our gym with another school, my students only get to see the gym once a week. Adding more equipment including cones, ribbons, plastic hoops, and the basketballs will allow me to spice up their interest in learning the necessary fundamentals. Most importantly introducing more sports skills such as basketball, soccer, football, and hockey. The wireless speaker will enable all my students to hear directions,

This project will help the students to learn how becoming physically active will improve and have immediate and long-term health benefits.
